What You’ll Do
Risk Management & Pricing: Conduct risk assessments across operational, financial, compliance, and strategic areas while monitoring program and vehicle class performance. Analyze loss ratios, trends, and anomalies to recommend pricing, coverage, underwriting, or operational adjustments that maintain program profitability.
Carrier, Reinsurance & Regulatory Oversight: Collaborate with insurance carriers and reinsurance partners on pricing, rate cards, contract terms, program changes, and risk-sharing structures. Prepare and submit rate filings and required documentation for state regulatory and lender approvals, maintain state licensing, monitor regulatory changes, and support audits and internal control reviews.
Product Development: Design, model, and price new products and programs; develop associated contracts, warranties, and supporting documentation; coordinate carrier and lender approvals; and monitor product lifecycle performance to recommend program adjustments.
Claims Oversight & Program Integrity: Review and approve claims exceeding $7,500 and work with the claims department to identify trends, investigate anomalies, and implement corrective actions to improve program performance.
Data, Reporting & Analytics: Produce standardized monthly reports for program, producer, dealer, and agent performance, develop reinsurance and performance reporting, handle ad hoc analysis, and translate operational and compliance requirements into clear data specifications for IT and analytics teams while maintaining data governance standards.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a liaison between operational teams, leadership, carriers, and external partners; mentor junior analysts; coordinate risk-related initiatives; and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field (Master’s a plus).
  • 4-6+ years in risk, compliance, analytics, or product-related roles.
  • Required: Automotive TPA industry experience.
  • Required: Experience with state or lender rate filings.
  • Preferred: Actuarial, reinsurance, or insurance carrier experience.
  • Strong Excel + BI skills; SQL preferred; Python/R a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000
