Top Responsibilities:
- Recording financial transactions, including sales revenue, expenses, and other journal entries.
- Entering and reconciling vendor bills, ensuring appropriate pricing and terms are applied.
- Processing payments to vendors, utilities, and suppliers in accordance with payment terms.
- Preparing and sending customer invoices for goods and services provided.
- Reconciling Credit Cards, Bank, and general ledger accounts, identifying and correcting discrepancies related to data entry or posting errors.
- Support the maintenance of accounting records and ledgers, ensuring proper allocation and coding of transactions across all companies.
- Generating financial reports as requested by management.
- Monitoring account balances and available credit to support cash flow planning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, Business or Accounting degree preferred.
- 2-5 years Bookkeeping/Accounting experience.
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.
- A strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and maintain information across multiple entities.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Capable of prioritization and handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time-management skills; ensuring timely and accurate reporting in order to meet various deliverables.
- Proficient in data entry to record transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Excellent arithmetic skills for verifying calculations and ensuring accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- Experience with Accounting/ERP software such as QuickBooks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
