Responsibilities:
- Analyzing data: Interpreting risk-related data, identifying patterns, and quantifying potential negative effects
- Making recommendations: Suggesting ways to reduce or control risk, such as diversification or currency exchanges
- Creating reports: Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating: Working with risk managers to develop reporting and evaluation techniques
- Conducting research: Gathering information on market trends, competitor activities, and economic conditions
- Developing contingency plans: Creating plans to deal with emergencies
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of risk management.
- Proficient in Python, R, and SQL.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent mathematical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and policies.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, or a related field is required.
- At least one year of related experience.
